BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – Benton County deputies arrested three robbery suspects after pulling over their car on I-82, which was full of stolen retail merchandise.
A deputy noticed the suspicious car near Queensgate Drive around 9:30 p.m. on November 10.
The car was missing its passenger side tires and was driving on its rims and its license plate did not match the car. The deputy also noticed that the car was full of “recently acquired merchandise.”
The deputy reached out to the Kennewick Police Department and confirmed that probable cause for robbery existed for the three people inside the car.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said the Kennewick Police Department linked the thefts to three separate retail locations earlier that evening.
