COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Detectives with the Columbus Police Department are asking for help in a cold case murder featured in this episode of Beyond the Yellow Tape.

On May 7, 2010, around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to 27th Avenue and North Lumpkin Road. They found Ermond Givens Jr. lying partly in the road with a gunshot wound. He did not survive.

There were no witnesses who came forward then, and there is no suspect information now.

Police said anyone with information, even details that seemed small at the time, should contact CPD’s Violent Crimes Unit. Reward money is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
