Police in Miami Gardens responded around 1:30 p.m. to a shooting on a residential block. Officers found a man shot in the chest; Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed him to a nearby hospital. Witnesses reported seeing people leave the area in a vehicle shortly after the incident. Some neighbors say they didn’t hear gunfire but did see the victim.
