Stars, stripes and patriotism were on display Tuesday, Nov. 11, in downtown Murrieta.
Murrieta’s 23rd annual Veterans Day Parade kicked off with the national anthem and a military flyover and ended at the Town Square Park and amphitheater, where Rotary clubs set up the Field of Honor. The annual exhibit of more than 2,000 full-sized American flags honors veterans .

This year’s parade grand marshal was Air Force Col. Bryan Bailey, commander of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, at March Air Reserve Base, a news release states.
