COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - In some stores in South Carolina, kids and teenagers can legally purchase products that will get them high.

The law requires customers to be 21 to buy alcohol, but there is no legal age requirement to purchase certain edibles or drinks that contain THC, the chemical in marijuana that gets you high.

While both recreational and medical marijuana are illegal in South Carolina, people in the state can buy products derived from hemp, which also contains THC.

South Carolina currently imposes zero regulations on their sale.
