PHOENIX — After nearly two decades on the run, Scottsdale Police say their second most wanted fugitive has finally been captured overseas.
Michael Wiseman , 56, was arrested on Nov. 1 by French authorities in the town of Kilstett, France, ending a manhunt that stretched across multiple continents. Investigators say Wiseman’s criminal activities and repeated escapes spanned almost twenty years and at least four countries.
“Michael Wiseman was wanted for possessing child pornography from a 2008 case in the city of Scottsdale,” said Sergeant Dustin Patrick with the Scottsdale Police Department.
