RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The annual Veterans Day parade was held in downtown Reno on Tuesday, with thousands showing up to take part.

“The ones that served our country, and gave us their all for our freedoms,” said Nevy Veteran Albert Bonk. “I’m honored by that.

The McQueen Lancer Battalion, and the others from Northern Nevada’s JROTC programs followed the law enforcement agencies down Virginia street, with the parade starting just south of the bridge, and wrapping up near the 6 th St. intersection.

“It brings my heart joy, actually, to see the support from the community,” Bonk added.

In addition to the local cadets, the parade featured plenty of sports cars that can make a lot of noise, and several Teslas that make very little.

And its clear the turnout is not going down for the parade
