Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday attempted to clear the air over people’s notions regarding Naxalism in the state. “There is this mindset about the state that there is Naxalism and as soon as someone lands at Raipur airport, they expect to hear gunshots. I want to address this issue and say that this is not the situation today,” said CM Sai at the Investors Connect Meet held in Ahmedabad.
Addressing the issue, CM Sai said the threat had presented many challenges to the state but the Centre’s strategy would see it eliminated before the set target date.
