(WNDU) - Saint Joseph Health System held a Veterans Day event on Tuesday featuring a bald eagle presentation.

This happened at both the Mishawaka and Plymouth medical centers.

The bald eagle has been a patriotic symbol since the conception of the country. It symbolizes pride and strength.

People not only learned about the bald eagle but were also able to touch one and take photos with it.

For vets dealing with medical conditions, it serves as a reminder to stay resilient.
