Heritage Cooperative today announced plans to invest $11 million in a new, state-of-the-art agronomy facility in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, designed to enhance service, efficiency, and product availability for area farmers. The project will consolidate two existing Heritage locations in Wyandot County into one modern, high-capacity operation.
The new 27-acre site will feature a 3,500-ton dry fertilizer building, fully automated liquid fertilizer system, two 24/7 loadout bays, seed treater and warehouse, anhydrous ammonia storage, and a five-bay service shop. The upgrades will expand speed, capacity, and precision across fertilizer blending and crop protection delivery, while the new seed treatment system improves product quality and enables the use of newer formulations entering the market.
