Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is currently navigating his first season with North Carolina; however, there remains a possibility that he could return to the NFL next season.
The New York Giants parted ways with head coach Brian Daboll on Monday, and Belichick’s name surfaced as a potential candidate.
Belichick is trying to get his Tar Heels ready to play Wake Forest this week, but reporters asked the 73-year-old head coach about coaching the Giants.
“Getting ready for Wake Forest, that’s all I got this week,” Belichick said on Tuesday, via New York Post’s Justin Tasch. “I’ve been asked about (an NFL return) from time to time.
