NATCHITOCHES, La. -- A man died Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 49, Natchitoches police said.

The crash claimed the life of Ramon Hillman.

The crash happened just before noon at mile marker 134 inside the Natchitoches city limits.

Police said Hillman was driving a 2016 Nissan Altima northbound on I-49 when he ran off the road and overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
