A nonprofit in Cincinnati is helping veterans manage the unseen pain of PTSD through the power of music, fostering a sense of community and healing.

The Cincinnati chapter of Guitars 4 Vets shows the power of a few notes and how, when words fail, music speaks.

In North College Hill, when Guitars 4 Vets meets on Thursdays, there's not a set structure. A few students, guitars in hand, gather with an instructor for a single purpose.

"There's a different type of community that you build, a music community," said Richard Hutchinson, co-founder of Cincinnati Guitars 4 Vets.
