PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - One woman pleaded guilty in a federal drug case.

Jodi Nichols pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute 50 or more grams of a substance containing meth.

Nichols was indicted by a federal grand jury earlier in the year.

The incident happened in May, when police said they found meth in her vehicle on the Mountain Parkway.

Nichols faces anywhere between five and 40 years in prison.

Her sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 12.
