CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Tate's Army Foundation, a local group dedicated to preventing lawn mowing accidents, received a significant boost today. Target donated $10,000 to support the foundation's mission.

The foundation is named after Tate Manahl, who was just three years old in 2018 when he was injured by his family's riding lawnmower. Tate suffered severe injuries and has undergone numerous surgeries, but he is doing well today. His family established the foundation to raise funds for accident prevention and to assist families in similar situations.

"It's going to help our outreach on the awareness," said Tate's father, Ryan Manahl. "If we can educate people of the dangers of lawnmower and machinery accident, we can help prevent them before all those burdens take place and everything that
