Anchorage jewelry store targeted in latest break

Back in August, three businesses in Anchorage had their windows smashed, with one losing its register. In October, two more, including Jackie’s Place and Northrim Bank, suffered damage, with a third, The Dirty Apron, facing nearly $2,000 in repairs. Now, David’s Jewelers in the Tikahtnu area is the latest victim. Manager Deborah Godfrey says they’ve been in the location for 15 years and never experienced anything like this. “When I first heard about it, I was hoping it was just a faulty alarm. Clearly, 20 minutes later, I discovered that was not the case,” she said.
