After being arrested and returned to the United States, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has pleaded not guilty to his attempted murder charge.

Last week, Miami Police confirmed that Antonio Brown was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Dubai and brought into custody to face charges of attempted murder, following an incident at a May 16 celebrity boxing match.

Brown allegedly got into a fight with another man during the boxing match in Miami. The former All-Pro wide receiver is accused of stealing a security guard’s gun and firing it in the direction of the man he fought.

According to Curt Anderson of the Associated Press, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, has filed a not guilty plea. The 37-year-old was transferring from New Jersey to Florida this morning and could appear in a Miami courtr
