Cold winds and chilly fall temperatures drove Tuesday's Veterans Day commemoration by Frederick's American Legion Francis Scott Key Post 11 inside, but the celebration of military service still went on.

The ceremony was scheduled for Frederick's Memorial Park, but was shifted to the post's home on Taney Avenue because of the weather.
