So far, Portland is having an average-to-warm November.

The lowest low of the month recorded at the Portland International Airport so far, according to Tyler Kranz, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Portland, was 41 degrees on Sunday, Nov. 2.

“This is nowhere close to a record,” Kranz said. “So far this month, observed temperatures at the Portland International Airport are 3.2 degrees above average.”

But that certainly isn’t always the case. In the past, Portland has had some very cold November days. Take, for example, November of 1985, which has eight days in this top 25 coldest days list and had six days where the high temperature didn’t even make it to 30 degrees.
