CADILLAC — The long-standing tradition of holding the Annual Veterans Day Assembly at Cadillac High School continued this morning.
This is the 57th year they’ve held the event.
It was a reverent ceremony at the Cadillac High School Performance Gym. The ceremony was presented by the senior class.
Junior, Rylee LaRoche was among the students at the event.
“It was a beautiful ceremony. I felt very included. And it’s very special to me. My grandpa actually served in World War two. So, it’s a big honor for me to be able to do this and be a part of this,” said Laroche.
LaRoche was one of the greeters for Tuesday’s ceremony.
“I think it’s just very important to recognize what they’ve done. I think oftentimes it gets overlooked, and the seriousness of it is not always there,” said LaRoche.
