A wine association based in one of Australia's most internationally celebrated wine regions has apologised after it posted photos of members wearing T-shirts reading "drink more, die younger".
The Coonawarrra Wine Region Facebook page, operated by the Coonawarra Vignerons, shared a photo in a post acknowledging the graduates of its Next Crop leadership program.
The post noted how the graduates learned about cultural awareness, wellbeing and environmental and social governance responsibilities.
A group of people is pictured wearing the T-shirts while all holding a wine glass.
The post, which was later deleted, attracted negative comments questioning the slogan's appropriateness, before the photo was edited to obscure the "die younger" part of the shirts.
