An arraignment has been set for former Benton County Treasurer Richard Renno, who was arrested and charged earlier this year after he was accused of trying to entice a minor on a dating app.

Renno's arraignment is set for at 9 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Benton County Courthouse, according to court records.

Court documents allege Renno used the dating app Grindr to access a 14-year-old. Documents also allege he used the app to send nude photographs to a minor.

Renno allegedly admitted to investigators that he used Grindr to talk to people under 18 years old "two or three times," according to the probable cause statement.

Renno has resigned following child sex crime allegations and a lawsuit for his removal from the Missouri attorney general .
