A Gold Coast man has walked away with a staggering $4.4 million after winning the Keno Jackpot on Sunday, at the Dublin Docks Irish pub near his home.

The man was having a quiet lunch at the pub, when he opted to purchase a ticket. Only to soon learn he had the winning numbers in the Keno Classic 10 Sport jackpot, which had a prize of $4,408,359.80.

“While we were in the middle of eating, we noticed the jackpot had gone off in the club,” the man told The Courier Mail .

“Murmurs were going around with everyone wondering if it was them. We never thought it would be our ticket. When the penny dropped that it was us, the adrenaline just started pumping through my body.

“It’s crazy because I’m not even a regular Keno player.”

The man said he was quite calm about the win.
