COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The PLACE, a Colorado Springs nonprofit focused on serving young people experiencing homelessness, announced on Tuesday that the Outreach Center has reopened its doors in Colorado Springs.
The Outreach Center is located at 423 East Cucharras Street.
The PLACE said the center is a “warm, safe space where they can rest, share a meal, and connect with the resources they need to thrive.”
The center had temporarily closed on September 5.
The PLACE said at the time that the closure was due to funding challenges for the organization and noted that it was part of “a strategic effort to ensure the organization’s long-term stability while continuing to provide critical support to youth experiencing homelessness.”
