LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - One week has passed since tragedy struck Louisville when a UPS airplane crashed , causing an inferno that sent black smoke into the sky and burned for hours.
14 people are confirmed dead, including three crew members who were aboard the plane.
As the hours and days have moved on, we’ve learned more about the crash and some of those victims who didn’t survive.
Last Friday, Grade A Recycling confirmed three employees were among those unaccounted for . The company’s CEO confirmed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, that those three families got official word that same day that their loved ones were among the people who died on the ground after the plane crashed.
Among them are 35-year-old Megan Washburn, a mother of two and a scrap metal buyer and customer experience agent,
