A driver who led Montebello police on a chase that ended in Pico Rivera was later shot at by officers when he allegedly sped towards them early Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, authorities said.
Police didn’t know if the suspect, who eluded capture, was injured. No officers were hurt.
Montebello police didn’t say how and where the chase started, when the shooting occurred and how many officers opened fire.
Police gave the location of Paramount Boulevard and Slauson Avenue in Pico Rivera. But media reports placed the shooting on the 8200 block of Maxine Street either at 1:45 a.m. or around 2 a.m.
