The end of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history is within sight.
The House of Representatives is expected to vote in the next 24 hours to fund the government through the end of January.
But California Democrats remain frustrated the deal eight members of the Senate Democratic caucus struck with Republicans did not include extensions of the Affordable Care Act subsidies that millions of Americans rely on.
