Bradenton, FL (WWSB) - The Manatee Food Bank is helping hundreds of families once again, with a second emergency food distribution event this month.
With the Federal Government still shutdown, the temporary federal funding pause impacting snap benefits continues.
As a result, many Manatee County families, children, and seniors continue to go without the critical food assistance that they rely on.
To make sure Manatee County residents are eating, the Food Bank of Manatee will host an Emergency Drive-through Food Distribution on Wednesday, Nov. 12th.
It’s taking place from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., at the Dream Church, located at 1820 53rd Avenue West in Bradenton.
Non-perishable food items will be provided for free.
“We are already seeing more people in need of emergency food support,” s
