Dave Roberts failed to get even a single vote for the 2025 National League Manager of the Year, and for the second straight season, Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy has been named the recipient of the award. Cincinnati Reds manager Terry Francona finished second in voting after coming out of a brief retirement, and Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson finished third in voting.
Both Murphy and Cleveland Guardians manager Stephen Vogt become the first repeat winners of the award overall since Rays manager Kevin Cash in 2020-21. Murphy is the first National League manager to repeat since longtime former Braves manager Bobby Cox in 2004-05.
