Dollar General in York

A Dollar General employee was stabbed during a robbery in York City, police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Officers were called to the store on the 200 block of North Sherman Street around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, after an armed man entered the business and demanded cash, according to York City Police.

The suspect pulled a knife and began stabbing a second employee, who suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries, investigators said.

The suspect was described as a man with a medium complexion, over 6 feet tall, and brown eyes.
