The Senators announced he wouldn’t return, and that’s a big blow.

Chabot, who doesn’t miss many games, took a hit from the Stars’ Colin Blackwell near the visitors’ bench on his last shift of the first period.

Chabot returned for the start of the second period with the rest of his teammates, but didn’t stay. He took a quick skate before heading back to the dressing room while looking like he was in discomfort. Article content
