New WWE Men’s Speed Champion Crowned on NXT

Jasper Troy is the new WWE Men’s Speed Champion, capturing the title from El Grande Americano on the latest episode of NXT.

El Grande Americano, who was accompanied by Bravo & Rayo, seemed to be in control after hitting Jasper with a flying headbutt.

Champion’s Tactic Backfires

The champion then resorted to his signature illegal tactics. El Grande pulled out the metal plate.However, this time, his cheating was spotted by the official. The ref saw him doing this and in the ensuing confusion, El Grande accidentally dropped the foreign object.

This mistake left the champion wide open. Jasper Troy capitalized on the opportunity as he gave El Grande the Black Hole Slam and pinned him to win the championship.
