SEATTLE — Establishing an identity is the first step to any successful franchise. If the first practice was any indication for the Seattle Torrent, this is going to be one fast team.
"Yeah, I would say we're going to be pretty relentless," Torrent goaltender Corrinne Schroeder said.
Relentless is one way to describe coach Steve O'Rourke's approach to camp.
"It was fine, we're all alive and well," defender Cayla Barnes said, laughing about the final minutes of practice where the team skated sprints around the ice.
"We're gonna be probably the most in-shape team in the league, to be honest," forward and Team USA captain Hilary Knight said.
