MANDAN, N.D. (KMOT) – State Representative Dawson Holle announced this week his intentions to run for re-election next year to the North Dakota House.
First elected in 2022, Holle made headlines as the youngest lawmaker elected in state history at the age of 18.
A Republican, Holle has pursued a business degree at the University of Mary and worked on his family’s sixth-generation dairy farm full-time.
In his re-election campaign announcement, Holle pointed to his efforts on legislation for agriculture and protection of vulnerable populations, as well as creating partnerships between the state and tribes.
Holle indicated he intends to focus on expanding in-state agriculture, private property rights and cost-of-living.
