Gianna Kneepkens scored seven of her 20 points in an 11-0 second-quarter surge that sparked No. 3 UCLA to a 73-59 nonconference win over No. 6 Oklahoma on Monday in Sacramento.

The Sooners (1-1) jumped on top 27-26 on a 3-pointer from Aaliyah Chavez before the game-changing sequence. Lauren Betts gave the lead back to UCLA (3-0) with a layup. Kneepkens followed with a layup and a 3-pointer, and after a hoop from teammate Angela Dugalic, she capped the surge with another basket for a 37-27 lead.

The Bruins led by five points at halftime and by 11 after three quarters. The margin never dipped below seven points in the fourth period. Dugalic wound up with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Betts amassed nine points and 10 boards.
