OTTAWA - The Dallas Stars scored three unanswered goals culminating with Roope Hintz scoring at 3:04 of overtime to beat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 Tuesday night.
Linus Ullmark made a couple big saves but Hintz was able to pick up a rebound and roof it for the come-from-behind victory.
The Stars outshot the Senators 17-6 in the third and tied the game to force overtime.
Trailing 2-1, the Stars (10-4-3) came out pressing in the third and were rewarded on the power play when Jason Robertson managed to beat Ullmark glove side. Ullmark finished the game with 31 saves.
The Senators (8-5-4) had to play the final 40 minutes without Thomas Chabot, who suffered an upper body injury late in the first.
Ottawa generated a number of good chances but couldn’t get anything else past Jake Oettinger, who
