MCCORDSVILLE, Ind. — 13News has learned Daniel's Vineyard has filed a federal lawsuit challenging McCordsville Town Council ordinances and enforcement.
A representative for the business sent a statement saying they believe those actions "unfairly limit its operations as a small family-owned business."
The statement also pointed out a "persistent focus on noise" from the town council.
That's something we previously told you about in 2018, after police said they got at least nine noise complaints, leading to a discussion about a noise ordinance. The town did have an ordinance on the books, but never set a standard for how loud is too loud.
