The Class 3A high school football playoffs kick off this weekend, while the playoffs in other classifications roar on with second-round matchups.

Seven local teams will compete in six games in four different classifications.

The action on Friday and Saturday takes place after the Tribune’s copy deadlines for the next day’s paper.
