MADISON, Conn. — Senior Sal Alessio scored the game-winning goal- with five minutes, 38 seconds left in the second overtime and a school-record tying 36th of the season as the Stonington boys soccer team advanced to the Class M state final with a 2-1 victory over No. 1 seed Weston on Tuesday night at the Surf Club.
