OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - On this Veterans Day, former candidate for Nebraska governor Charles Herbster is weighing in on medical marijuana, explaining that his conversations with many veterans over the years have changed his position on the issue.
On Facebook, Herbster wrote: “For veterans, cannabis is a far better option than the opioids most are prescribed for their ailments. Governor Jim Pillen has done everything he can to delay and dismantle the voter-enacted medical cannabis statutes. He has restricted medical cannabis regulations so much that it will be difficult for those in need to find relief.”
