These are crazy times we’re living in, and not just because of the obvious political stuff.

On Tuesday night, a man who performed at the Civic Arena in 1964 with the band that changed the world played that same block as an 83-year-old — and crushed it.

How? How is that possible?

Paul McCartney, who invaded these shores with the Beatles, arrived at PPG Paints Arena on the Got Back Tour with a true “eras” set that ran three times longer than the one played by the Fab Four 61 years ago.

It was the first visit here in 11 years for Sir Paul and, as always, he blew us away with his energy, craft, warmth, charisma and nearly incomparable set list, running from The Quarrymen in 1958 through the Beatles and Wings to a song from seven years ago.
