HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Hastings organization is promoting a limited-time campaign to help raise funds for the new skate park next to the Aqua Court.

The Hastings skate park was built in 2003 and is long overdue for a complete makeover. Once finished, it will feature a horseshoe bowl, a pump track and spectator seating.

One skater Local4 talked to says they felt comfortable only going down a few ramps at the park right now.

Hastings Kiwanis hopes the project is a world-class outdoor space where youth can build confidence.
