The city of Cleveland should require that the neighborhood football team should not be able to call itself Cleveland.

No longer should the Browns be permitted to besmirch the great name of Cleveland. The franchise’s proud tradition established in the 1950s has been a disgrace to the community for the last 30 years, failing terribly to resemble the professional greatness we long ago were accustomed to, and threatening to bathe the community in red ink from another failed stadium project.

Require that this team be renamed the Brook Park Browns. Let the nation ask, “Huh?” Let the National Football League be embarrassed for how it has treated Cleveland.
