CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Tuesday night, Hyde Park Community Members voted on a motion to amend several bylaws for the Hyde Park Neighborhood Council. The heated discussion lasted several hours.

The motion on the floor to amend the above Hyde Park Neighborhood Council bylaws failed Tuesday night by a 2/3’s majority vote. The proposed changes would have allowed for community members, meaning anyone present during the monthly council meetings, to remove a trustee or officer from the Hyde Park Neighborhood Council at any point, with or without cause. That motion failed on Tuesday night, but people at the meeting believe the same motion will be on the floor again soon enough.
