CONWAY, Ark. — Early voting starts on Wednesday for voters in the City of Conway.

They will be faced with six measures known as the "pick six" on whether or not to vote for new attractions in the city, and two measures for public safety.

The four measures that would add venues or events and attract more people to the area are what the chambers say would be to add money to the tax base, but those who are against the proposals say that, before there are any additions, they would like to know where their tax dollars are going.

“I'm voting no because I don't want to be taxed anymore,” explained Lori Armstrong, who is a resident of Conway.
