A serial Canberra criminal has been accused of stealing numerous cars, including one that police claim was later used in a destructive Gungahlin cafe ram raid.
When Bradley Mark Flynn faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 12, his lawyer said the man's recent nine months in the community had been his longest stretch out of custody as an adult.
The 36-year-old was denied bail after being arrested the previous day, accused of a string of aggravated burglaries, driving offences and car thefts from dealerships in October.
After learning he would not be released, Flynn stood up from the dock and loudly said: "I'm not good for none of this shit. This is bullshit."
He claimed police had purposefully "loaded me up with charges" to force the man into a plea deal.
