LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Last Tuesday’s plane crash has left several families and friends of the victims mourning, and also coming together to show their support.
One of those people, Victor Anderson, tells WAVE the plane crash hit him hard, as he’s an airplane mechanic for UPS and regularly visited Grade A Auto Parts.
“You get the messages and the texts and the alerts, but once you start to see the aftermath of what really happened, it really hits you,” said Anderson.
But it hit even closer to home when he realized he knew one of the victims, Matt Sweets.
Anderson said Sweets went to Trinity High School while he went to Saint Xavier, and they had a lot of mutual friends. They then went on to attend UofL at the same time.
Sweets was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night with burns on 9
