It’s a luxury in the NBA to have a certified bucket-getter. On a Raptors team that has lacked one for a while, Brandon Ingram has emerged as just that.

On a Tuesday night when Toronto’s offence looked sluggish at times, it was Ingram who shut the door on the Brooklyn Nets by hitting timely shots and making plays that led the Raptors to a 119-109 road victory — and over the .500 mark at 6-5.

Ingram finished with 25 points, five rebounds and four assists. Despite a size disadvantage, Toronto outscored Brooklyn 68-36 in the paint and held a 58-43 rebounding edge.

“My teammates are making it easier for me on the offensive and defensive end.”
