(KFVS) - Many people across the Heartland saw a red, glowing “cloud” in the sky Tuesday night.
But it wasn’t a cloud--it was the northern lights!
According to the National Weather Service, the aurora was visible on November 11 due to severe geomagnetic storm conditions from a solar flare, which reached a G4 out of 5 .
Peak visibility in our region was between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
