Police are cracking down on the South Coast's high-risk domestic and family violence offenders as part of Operation Amarok XII.
As part of their efforts local police are being helped by officers from a range of specialist units including the Raptor Squad, High Risk Offender Teams and Youth Command as they work together to protect vulnerable members of the community.
Operation Amarok XII runs from Wednesday, November 12 to Saturday, November 15, and carries the message that police and the community will not tolerate abuse, intimidation, or violence.
During the operation police will focus on arresting domestic violence offenders wanted over outstanding warrants, conducting apprehended domestic violence order compliance checks and seizing illegal weapons.
